Team Manager

Location - Bristol
Employment Type - Full Time - Permanent
Salary - Up to £35,000 with great benefits
Hours Per Week - 37.5

We are recruiting for a Team manager to lead, mentor and develop a team of IT Service Desk Engineers. We don’t require candidates to have the technical background, but we do need a great people manager who is passionate about delivering high quality service to our internal customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Day to day running of the Service Desk.
  • Day to day management/supervision of around 10 staff. 
  • Monitor and supervise work queues to ensure we hit our SLA’s. 
  • Carry out quarterly 121’s, development plans etc with all staff. 
  • Manage staff rota and holiday planning. 
  • Ensure that all scheduled tasks are completed within the correct time frame.

You’ll have the following skills & experience:

  • Prior proven people management experience is essential
  • Continuous improvement - reviewing processes and finding efficiencies. 
  • Enthusiastic and be able to demonstrate this in your day-to-day activities 
  • Focused and able to work in a methodical way in a busy office environment  
  • Resilient and be able to overcome any obstacles in between you and your targets 
  • Self-motivated to achieve targets as well as being able to work alongside others as part of a team 
  • Proficient in communicating with people at all levels in the business. 
  • Maintain good quality process documents and procedures. 
  • Experience working with a ticketing system
  • Communicate efficiently, both written and verbally
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
  • Be customer oriented
