We have fantastic opportunity for you to join as a Business Analyst here in our rapidly growing team in Newcastle, working for a market leading insurance claims company currently undergoing a large-scale digital transformation.

The successful business analyst will be joining a small team of developers and testers to ensure the business outcome is fully considered in our ongoing programme of work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Defines and creates test cases from analysis of both functional and non-functional specifications.
  • Produces and maintains test artefacts.
  • Specifies test requirements for environment, data, resources and tools.
  • Interprets, executes and documents complex test scripts and scenarios using agreed methods and standards.
  • Fault recording and management.
  • Participate in quality inspections of work done by Development team
  • Mentoring of less experienced staff when required
  • Liaises with the business to complete User Acceptance Testing

Required Knowledge & Skills:

  • Five years’ experience as a business analysis
  • Proven ability to deliver business solutions for strategic projects and programmes, balancing cost, quality and time
  • Understands industry best practice and standards and applies the right tools and methodologies
  • Builds and maintains effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to find and develop cost effective solutions that meet or exceed business needs
