IT Delivery Manager

Location - Newcastle
Employment Type - Full Time - Permanent
Salary - £40,000 + Great Benefits
Hours Per Week - 37.5

We are recruiting for a Delivery Manager to join our Claims IT department in central Newcastle. The successful candidate will participate in high quality scoping, planning, management, and execution of projects using appropriate tools and techniques and conforming to agreed company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Driving project delivery across the function
  • Responsible for the delivery of projects; ensuring effective outcomes, delivery on time, within budget, representing value for money
  • Involvement from project initiation through to benefit realisation
  • Assisting the Head of IT to prioritise and plan roadmap
  • Link up areas of the business from operations to BA and Test team to successfully deliver change
  • Remove blockers
  • Contribute to the management of risks and issues
  • Accurate reporting on project delivery
  • Supporting Head of IT implement gold standard delivery life cycle

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a delivery role
  • PRINCE2
  • Understanding of Lean principles and how to apply them
  • Experience of Agile and Waterfall methodology desirable 
  • Dedication to quality and a meticulous approach
  • Proactive management of issue resolution
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic
  • Proactive and flexible
  • Excellent time management and planning and organisational skills
