Claims Handler - Personal Injury Academy
We are recruiting for a new generation of insurance claims professionals looking to build a career in our award winning and growing personal injury and credit hire department.
You don’t need to have had any experience in dealing with personal injury or credit hire claims, but we are looking for candidates who currently work in the insurance or claims industry.
In six months we will teach you:
- How insurance works and how to deal with a claim when a customer has an accident – we cover both legal and insurance aspects with you.
- How you determine who is at fault for the accident.
- How to deal with personal injury claims submitted on the official injury claims portal.
- How to deal with claims for credit hire presented by one of our protocol partners.
After six months you will have the opportunity to progress/learn more about different aspects of personal injury and credit hire.
You will have a Manager and Team Coach that will support your style of learning, so you can build your confidence as you go.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Confidence in communicating with customers over the phone.
- Experience in handling insurance claims – This can be anything from dealing with the first notification of a motor incident to handling your own caseload of motor property damage claims.
- Willingness to learn.
- Motivated and focussed on self-development.
