Operations Trainer

Location - Bristol
Employment Type - Full Time - Permanent
Salary - Up to £31,800
Hours Per Week - 37.5

The purpose of this role is to proactively contribute to the delivery and design of Training for Broking operations. The Broking operations trainer will provide a framework which ensures that Broking operations employees are able to service our customers in a competent and compliant manner from induction all the way through the customer journey. The right candidate will encourage and support best practice and ensure that the Broking operations teams are well trained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To welcome new employees to our company and take them through the broking operations induction training to include: product and process knowledge, business best practice techniques and regulatory information.
  • To provide ongoing training as required including refresher sessions or development training.
  • Reviewing and enhancing training materials and accompanying support materials, relevant to Broking operations.
  • Ensure all SBISL operations training documents are controlled, and that only the latest versions are being delivered, by all trainers (including Outworx)
  • Supporting the business to solve specific business issues or new projects and be confident to offer advice on learning solutions available
  • Carrying out training needs analyses with Team leaders or Key stakeholders to ensure Broking operations is providing outstanding service and maintaining solid product and process knowledge
  • Working in conjunction with Quality Assurance & Compliance to ensure all training enables the business to adhere to FCA requirements to ensure competence of individuals and compliance to regulations
  • Maintain knowledge of current best practice and regulations by proactive research into market and educational opportunities and reading professional publications.
  • Appropriate administration of various systems and shared drives, in line with GDPR requirements
  • Working collaboratively to ensure Broking Operational training falls within the business Learning and development guidelines
  • Undertake other reasonable responsibilities and projects as agreed with manager

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Prior experience in call centre operations or Broking
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proactive and accountable for your own workload and quality
  • Confident, positive and resilient with a natural desire for continuous improvement
  • Professional at all times – and demonstrates our values
  • Experience of running new starter inductions and training plans.
  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance and Evaluation would be beneficial.
  • Coaching and mentoring skills
