IT Project Manager
We are recruiting for an IT Project Manager to join us on an 8-month fixed term contract.
The purpose of this role is to participate in the project management and delivery of the agreed IT strategy and supporting initiatives, using appropriate tools and techniques and conforming to agreed company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the delivery of projects; ensuring effective outcomes, delivery on time, within budget, representing value for money.
- Plan, schedule and develop project plans using appropriate tools.
- Liaise and effectively communicate with the project team and stakeholders on an ongoing basis or as required by project type.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
- Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project life cycle.
- Monitor and contribute to the management of project risks and issues.
- Assist the Head of IT Infrastructure to prioritise and plan the projects roadmap.
- Manage defined projects roadmap and associated progress reporting.
- Own project management documentation.
- Business analyst activities on larger projects including information / detailed requirement gathering.
- Gather feedback from the team and customers to complete the feedback loop.
Required Skills/Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a project management role.
- PRINCE2 or equivalent project management qualification.
- Understanding of Lean principles and how to apply them.
- Experience of Agile and Waterfall methodology is desirable.
- Awareness of Compliance requirements such as: CE+, PCI, GDPR, ISO27001, CIS is desirable.
- Dedication to quality and a meticulous approach.
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic.
- Excellent time management, planning, and organisational skills.
- Ability to build strong internal and external business relationships.
