Senior Claims Handler - Third Party
We are currently recruiting for a third party claims handler to take a senior role within the team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for the next step in their claims career.
The successful candidate will have significant third party claims handling experience in RTA claims. They will have a good understanding of motor claims including liability, litigation and indemnity and recovery of costs.
The role will consist of a small caseload of claims up to £50,000, coaching and mentoring of other claims handlers, dealing with technical referrals in line with company policy & procedures, developing internal processes and completing monthly quality audits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate and proactively manage your own caseload of third party claims
- Drive your own performance by achieving KPIs and objectives
- Motivate, coach and develop the skills of claims handlers within your team
- Support your Team Manager with the technical development and performance management of the team
- Identify areas of improvement to make the business more efficient
- Participate in project work across the business as required
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Significant experience of handling third party motor claims
- Sound technical knowledge of motor claims, litigation, liability and indemnity
- Lead by example and be a role model within the department
- Ability to work proactively and to tight deadlines and to take ownership for your own work
