Purpose of the Role:

This is a brilliant opportunity to work across a broad range of digital marketing activities including SEO, content strategy, social media, email campaigns and utilising tools to report on e-commerce performance.

The role of the Marketing Manager will be very hands on, looking at sales generated throughout the business and implementing marketing measures to enhance revenue throughout the businesses. The successful candidate will work with and manage one other marketing team member as well as work directly with our in-house design team and web development team.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Own the execution of all marketing activities
  • Be a Guardian for Marketing, ensuring positive outcomes are likely for activities
  • Manage, develop and improve a team of Digital Marketers
  • Plan and execute all paid digital marketing campaigns
  • Devise strategies to drive quality traffic to our websites and stores
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against KPIs
  • Responsible for planning and budgetary control of all digital marketing channels
  • Work with our Web team to improve the usability, design, content and conversion of our websites
  • Analyse results of campaigns and action improvements to drive better performance
  • Propose, based on value, new and amended activities to deliver improved customer outcomes and business value
  • Focus on following disciplines:
  1. Email Marketing (cross sell focused)
  2. Social media Marketing and reputation management
  3. Video and content development and delivery
  4. PPC and SEO
  • Utilise data to support targeted cross sell, up sell, and also to understand where we are creating and losing customer value in the business

  • Use a range of interpersonal skills effectively to communicate with all levels of seniority across the business using appropriate channels
  • Understanding of clients' needs and apply this knowledge when considering digial development recommendations, reporting, updates, etc.
  • SEO tools, Ahrefs, Agency Analytics
  • Google Analytics and core Google suite tools
  • Microsoft Office packages
  • Work under own initiative as required and make well informed decisions
  • Apply strong analytical skills to corporate data to interpret and make recommendations to the business
  • Competent level of technical knowledge to be able to support tasks across teams
  • Influence key audiences within the business and flex style and messages to engage stakeholders

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: minimum 3 years, Digital Marketing experience in Utility, Financial Services, or similar
  • Qualifications: degree educated or equivalent work experience
